Metung Markets

The second Saturday of the month means that the market will be on the village green at Metung.  We are so fortunate to live in a region that produces some of the finest produce in the state.  Today I bought some olives from Sunny Banks vineyard and olive grove.  We always buy our olives here.  The olives are the small Ligurian style olives and they are delicious.

The weather was miserable today so there were only a few stalls at the market compared to the usual bustling village green.

I also bought some beautiful waratahs.  Flowers are so much cheaper to buy at the market. $12 for this bunch.
