I wrote in a previous post about the work in Patterson Park in Metung. They were building a Raindrop Park for the kids. I think it is finished although I am not quite sure. It certainly doesn’t look like much but I think the kids will get lots of fun from it.
It appears to be just a slab of concrete with drains and holes!
See the green button? Press that and the action happens. The water sprouts from the various holes and the kids can play in the raindrops. A neat idea, particularly when we still have blue green algae in the lake.
Great idea, is there an upper age limit?
Love your comment. Age is no barrier!
Water parks always look depressing when they’re not in action but I’m sure it’ll be a ton of fun for kids. Plus, I think water is the great equalizer… add water to anything and kids find a way to have the best time!
This is indeed proving to be so.
