Metung is a small village and as such we don’t have a library. We are fortunate that we have the services of the Mobile Library which visits the village once a fortnight. We are able to make use of many of the facilities of the main library but on board instead. It is great that you don’t have to make the trip to Bairnsdale or Lakes Entrance to choose and return your library books.
The map on the back of the bus shows the area that the service covers and the places it stops.
You can make reservations on line and the books will be placed in the bus for your next visit. There is a good selection of books on board and they are changed frequently.
An excellent service for the village.
