Fingerless gloves

on

I have just finished knitting some fingerless gloves for my daughter’s birthday. I used Noro Silk Garden as the wool for this project in the colours #272 and #047. The gloves worked out well but obviously using shaded wool there is no way you are going to get two gloves the same! These two gloves couldn’t be more different if they tried! You can see where the aqua wool finished one mitten and started the second mitten.

The pattern is from Ravelry , Radiator fingerless mitts by Larissa Brown. You need to sign up to view the website, no cost, so you can browse the pictures of loads of beautiful projects. There are some awesome patterns available.

When I finished this pair I decided to make a pair for my granddaughter who is a fan of Geelong AFL team. The colours of the team are navy and white so this is the result of using non-variegated wool.

It is an extremely easy pattern so I am going to make another pair when I finish this navy and white pair.

That is a lovely pattern. Do you knit often with Noro yarn?

This is only the second thing I have knitted using Noro. It has such beautiful colours in the yarn it is a joy to watch what pattern comes out as a result of the different colours.
