I have had a go at making baps, trying to emulate those that I enjoyed so much while we were in Scotland. I followed the recipe exactly, from the link on my previous post, and before they went into the oven they looked the business.
They looked the business after coming out of the oven.
Unfortunately they were not the business when tasted. They were more like a scone than a bap! I was hoping for something exactly like the baps in Scotland but that was not to be. I will have another try using a different recipe.
