Gilet noeud noeud

I have just finished a cardigan for my granddaughter and am now undecided as to whether to attach the bow or not. Usually I search Ravelry for a pattern but this time I found the pattern for the cardigan when I was looking at one of the knitting blogs I follow.

The pattern was free so I decided to give it a go.  This was such an easy knit compared to the red jumper I did for my grandson.  It only took me a couple of days to finish.  Now I need to decide whether to attach the bow or not.  Perhaps the bow is a little bit too bulky for the cardigan.  I think I will wait until I visit my daughter and let her decide.

For myself, I would skip the bow, I think it is a good idea to let your daughter decide. Cute pattern.

Thanks for that. I am thinking that the bow would make it top heavy.

  2. I must say, I rather like the bow. I can see it’s quite bulky but I think it adds a nice bit of style. Maybe once your granddaughter tries it on it’ll be easier to decide. Your knitting is lovely.

with bow…but maybe it’s better to let your daughter decide.

Thanks, I think letting her decide is the best way to go.

I vote pro-bow; I think it’s lovely. Can you make it removable so the child can customise her look? My nieces would find that fascinating!
