For those of you who have followed this blog since we constructed our dry riverbed in the front garden, I thought you might like to see how well it coped with the downpour we had yesterday. We had 14mm in five minutes, that is a considerable amount of rain. The riverbed coped beautifully.
A little bit has pooled at the side but apart from that all worked well.
I have already done a post when we had some rain previously and the riverbed worked but this was a really heavy downpour.
