When my younger daughter had operations on both of her feet she was confined to sitting down for lengthy periods of time and so started a knitting project. She had completed three quarters of the project but since then hasn’t had the time to complete it.
Because I like to have a project on the go I offered to finish the jumper for her and so I am now working on this project.

The pattern is called Cloud by Kate Davies. I have knitted other Kate Davies designs, Owl and Owlet.
This jumper is knitted with a much finer wool and is incredibly soft.
It is 50% merino, 50% silk, lovely to work with.
My daughter chose a dark wool for the edging rather than white.
I have completed the body of the jumper and am now working on the hood.
what a beautiful jumper. I really like Kate Davies designs and the colors you are working with are gorgeous.
I love her designs too and one day I hope to make one of her fair isle garments, perhaps after I have visited Shetland. That is on my to do list.
me too! That would be amazing to make a fair isle sweater or even a hat!
What a lovely design and the wool sounds beautiful.
The wool is so soft it is indeed a delight to work with.
