I bought some Ikat fabric to make this outfit for my granddaughter. I have finished the blouse but still have to make the shorts. My sewing was interrupted as I made some curtains and a mattress cover for my neighbour’s campervan. Hopefully I will get the shorts done now I have finished that job.
There is pin tucking in the yoke of the blouse but you don’t really notice it because of the fabric pattern.

Not for the first time while reading your blog I wish I could sew. That’s lovely and looks complicated to me. Shorts sound even more difficult!
I managed to get the shorts finished just in time for my visit to the grandchildren during the school holidays.
Love the fabric. I might try sewing some things for lenka, something easy!
