The weather was definitely not sunny when we visited the Glenfiddich Distillery.
Raincoats were required all round.
The weather didn’t bother us as we were inside for most of the time.
There was certainly plenty to see and keep us interested
and of course at the end of the tour there was the opportunity for a tasting and some buying. The website gives you all the details of this distillery, one of several distilleries we visited on our holiday.
Somehow distilleries look right in the dreich Scottish weather. I haven’t been to Glenfiddich but my most memorable visits to other such places have been on damp grey days.
You are quite right Lorna. The weather ideally matched the event.
