I have been trying to get my Christmas gifts finished in plenty of time for Christmas. This particular gift has taken a bit of time but I managed to get quite a bit done while I was watching the first Ashes test match. I am making a rag doll with a mix and match wardrobe.
These are some of the pattern pieces before I started to make the doll.
This is the doll in the process of being stuffed.
I have made rag dolls before but this one is to a completely different pattern and nowhere near as easy as previous dolls I have made. It was all a bit of a fiddle as it was hand stitched, apart from the legs.
The doll has turned out ok but I am really pleased with the knitted parts of the wardrobe.
I particularly like the hat.

I haven’t quite finished yet as I have still to complete the sewn items in the wardrobe.
