I had a visit to the library yesterday to pick up a book I had reserved. I can never come away from the library with just one book.
This is my collection from yesterday.
The Mark of the Assassin is a recommendation from “A little Fluff”, the book, Not the Same Sky was a recommendation from Books Plus which is a radio programme on the ABC. The remaining books I chose by title and then reading the blurb on the cover.
Long live libraries! 🙂
We have a great deal to thank Dale Carnegie for.
Amen to that.
Noticed the Quilters books yesterday at the library, I thought to remember them for next time ,as I always come away with more books than i can read. I played it safe, got a marie claire cook book and a local history book.
I haven’t borrowed from the library for quite a while and the last lot I borrowed about three weeks ago and I managed to read them all.
This lot are a bit of a mix so it will be interesting to see if I get them all read. I seem to get the bug now and again and churn through the books really quickly.
Cook books are often in my bundles too. I must admit that I don’t very often attempt recipes from the cookbooks – only occasionally.
