Will the art of handwriting die out?

It’s a worry. The art of spelling seems to already have gone down the plughole.
Or should that be ‘have already gone’? The art of not splitting infinitives is something I’ve yet to master.
There are many downsides to technology but the upside, I think, far outweighs the downside. I continue to marvel at the wonders of technology today.
