In our house I think I am the only person who notices it hasn’t been done. I wish I could ignore it but I can’t live with untidiness and dirt.
I am going to make a sweeping statement here, pardon the pun, and say that men don’t seem to notice that housework hasn’t been done, maybe only if the man lives on his own does he realise something needs cleaning.
Now that should generate a few responses. 🙂
I think a lot of men would be content with a lower standard of cleanliness than most women are. Not to say all, of course, there are exceptions, but in my experience untidiness and a lack of hygiene doesn’t bother men as much as women. It can be a bit annoying when you work hard to keep a house clean and nobody notices.
I couldn’t agree more Lorna. It is really a question of what I am willing to accept as my standard.
