A rustic degustation.

We were fortunate to attend a degustation at the Tinamba Hotel last Friday, along with my sister-in law and her husband.  They were unable to attend the previous degustation as they were away on holiday and were anxious to attend this degustation as we had told them all about the previous one.

I mentioned in a previous post that we stayed at Happy Days Accommodation so that no one needed to be the designated driver and we did the same for this degustation.

The theme was “rustic” but the meal certainly wasn’t.  It was of the highest quality but featuring “rustic” dishes.

This is just one sample of the many courses we tasted.  Unfortunately I seemed to forget to take a picture of each course until we had started or were finished. 😦

It was a fantastic meal and we will certainly be attending the next degustation when we are advised of the date.

Wow! That looks delicious! I love the Tinamba hotel, especially their affogato. We’re so lucky to have such beautiful restaurants in Gippsland.

That is so true. I have just finished reading the Autumn edition of the magazine, “Gippsland- a celebration of country life”. I was commenting to my husband that there is so much to see and do in Gippsland we are spoilt for choice.
