I have made a start on the upholstering of the armchair
and it has become painfully obvious that I will have nowhere near the amount of denim I require.
I was going to head out to the thrift store today but my sister contacted me to say that her husband had a pair of jeans that I could use for the upholstery. Hopefully that will be enough.

What an absolutely brilliant idea! I love all the pockets on it – great for the ‘remote control’ My husband was an upholsterer for 30 years.. and believe it or not I had to buy most of my furniture as he never had the time to cover our own chairs.. haha! He gave up in the end to fit curtains and blinds because stooping over the chairs for all those years eventually injured his back. x
I thought the pockets would be useful.
Sorry to hear that your husband injured his back but I can fully understand that after many years upholstering you would tend to suffer back problems.
