I forgot to show pictures of our floor when it was finally finished although I had told you about the process of ripping up the carpet and tiles. We had to wait a little while for someone to come and finish off the trim once the floor was laid but the floor is now complete and we are very happy with it.
Is is so much easier to keep clean.

your floor looks fantastic! about half our house is carpetless now. you’re right, I find it easier to keep clean.
We still have some carpet but we are going to replace that with new as the current carpet is in much need of replacement.

I live in a house that’s 100 years old and someone kept the hardwood in place and finished it nicely. It is much much better than carpet and there’s no grout to worry about …….. your house is lovely and the new floor really adds to it!
Thank you Jennifer. I would love to have real hardwood floors. The cost of putting real wood down was way beyond our budget so we opted for wood laminate. It looks good even though it is not the real thing.
