It has been three months since I last posted on my blog and there is a reason for my absence from the blogging community. I have been overseas. We have just returned from three months in the UK and France.
I made a conscious decision not to look at blogs or to add posts to my blog while we were away. It was good to have a break and hopefully it will not take me too long to get back into the swing of things.
I will be returning to posting about our travels on Tuesday Travels as I did when we returned from our previous trip overseas.
We have had a wonderful holiday but I have to say that the best part is getting home to family. I know you can have contact with Skype but to be physically close, at least in the same country, makes a big difference.
The joy to be greeted at the airport by our elder daughter and two grandchildren. It was indeed great to be home.
Tomorrow I will start catching up with those blogs I follow.
And. . . . . The cricket has started!

Hahahah I thought of that this morning when I was doing my hair! I forgot you hadn’t seen it!!!! I finally decided I was way sick and tired of blowing my hair dry – because it won’t dry. I have been through three cuts now and she’s finally getting it the way I want. I just do not want to be bothered with hair – too busy!!!
