Did I meet my target?

on

Last year (2016) my reading challenge was to read more non-fiction books. I think I read more than the previous year although I didn’t review many of them on my blog. This year (2017) I just want to read more books. I found that I didn’t read as much as I would have liked so my challenge this year is to read 104 books. That is two per week. An ambitious challenge but I am going to give it a go.

How did I go?

I have finished the year with a total of 69 books, not quite 104 books but not too bad. You can find a list of the books I read on my reading challenge page at the top of the blog.

I have decided to do something different for my Reading Challenge this year.I am going to select some of my books from this book which I bought a few years ago.  I will see which books are available at the library as I am going to try not to buy any books this year.

I started this year with a sports autobiography which was obviously not one of the books mentioned in this book.  I will be reading books from other sources too. I wonder if I will get any closer to 104 books this year.

Well done with your reading. 104 is a big target but I’m sure you can do it. I’ve set myself the target of 100 this year, but I think it’s going to take considerable effort to achieve it. So far I’m behind schedule, having only finished two books, so I’d better get my skates on.

That’s a target similar to mine. Let’s see if we can both reach our target.
