Good neighbours

We were sad to say farewell to our good neighbour who left for Melbourne this morning.

He has been our neighbour for about six years and we have thoroughly enjoyed his company and the company of his partner during this time.  We will miss them.

Hopefully we will be able to catch up with them when we are down in Melbourne in the future.

We are so lucky to have had good neighbours who we consider good friends.

I accessed your blog in my sewing class this afternoon. I wanted to show the women your A McQueen jumper but came across your lovely comments on Richard leaving Metung. After much distress regarding the water infiltration he is now in his flat and it looks lovely. I do hope we see you both soon. Elizabeth xx

Thanks Elizabeth. We are missing you very much. It just doesn’t seem the same. I think Ashley’s parents moved in yesterday as we noticed smoke from the chimney.
Hopefully we will get to Melbourne before we go overseas, if not most certainly after we come home. Heather xx

Good neighbours are a real treasure, I hope whoever moves in turns out also to be a good neighbour.
