While I was doing some gardening I had a visit from these two feathered friends. 
The birds were waiting for me to finish disturbing the compost heap so they could get something to eat.
Because we have a water feature in our garden we have frequent bird visitors, more so during this very dry spell we are having here in Australia.

I love it when birds are just waiting for you to go so they can get at the worms.
We are now starting to get more smaller birds in our garden as our bushes have grown and provide more cover for the small birds.
We didn’t intentionally have a water feature but two buckets were filled during the recent storms and the garden birds are having a great time.
I love seeing the birds in the garden.
I was sitting outside this morning thinking about how and what I was going to plant this year on top of my chilies and a Red cardinal bird was sitting in front of me. It was pretty cool.
