Things have been rather out of sync here since just after Christmas when the start of all the bushfires in East Gippsland began to affect us here in Metung. My usual routine has been greatly affected and I only feel as if we are just slowly getting back to normal although we have been told to make sure that we keep the Vic Emergency app set to notifications just in case fires flare up again. Fires are now causing a problem close to Canberra where our daughter lives so we are keeping an eye on that too.
To my reading challenge.
As I have said it is already February so indeed time to set my Reading Challenge for 2020. I have decided to do a challenge called Clear the Shelves. I need to get to all the books that I haven’t read that are still on my shelves. I need to make a list and then set about reading them. I can assure you that in our study I have quite a number of books that I haven’t read. Many of those books are books that my husband has read and his taste in fiction is not the same as mine so I will be branching out a bit.
I will still be able to read books that are not on my shelves but I will try not to buy any books this year.
The book I am reading at the moment is one that a friend has lent to me.
I started to do that a few years ago and never finished. Good luck, and I look firward to seeing what is on your shelves.
I can tell you there will be a real variety.
Enjoy the book. Hope your daughter’s okay too. Such worrying times.
Enjoy the variety of reading.
I hope those fires are ending soon for all of you.
Stay safe.
