I haven’t been for a morning walk for a while so it was good to get out for a long walk this morning.
I did most of my usual walk route and was surprised to find an incredible amount of progress on the work related to the Hot Springs here in Metung.
This is the area where they had the bore to reach the aquifer for the hot water spring. The drill has now gone and landscaping is taking place.
You can just see down in the valley that the glamping pods have been constructed on the edge of the water. (You can’t actually see the water.)
Up on the ridge, known as The Plateau, they have built some sort of storage facility to house machinery I think. There are containers in there which are probably for housing equipment.
It is great to see so much activity taking place. Hopefully by next summer some of the actual pods will be available for use.
