When we had two of our grandchildren visiting recently two of the things that kept them amused during the weekend, when screen time had been limited, were playing cards and the game of Fox and Geese which we only ever use as a type of Solitaire.
The central hole is left empty and the aim is to remove all the pins but one and ideally for a perfect result it should be in the central hole. The pegs can only be jumped horizontally or vertically, no diagonal moves.
This game kept them amused for quite some time.
Great idea for kids. It is garden skittles made from wood which is a must play for my grand nieces.
Yes we play that too and the kids enjoy the competition.
