A new project on the go

I was in Melbourne recently and my daughter took me to a wonderful wool shop in Hastings.

The shop has an amazing array of wools with many from overseas that are expensive to buy if you buy direct from overseas as you have to pay postage. It is also good to be able to choose the wool after seeing it rather than as a picture as sometimes the colour is not what you expected.

 

The wool I purchased is beautiful.  So soft and it knits up well together.

The pattern I am using is from Petiteknits which is a website I have used a couple of times now and have been delighted with the results.  The pattern is called Novice sweater and is knitted from the top down.  It is a simple sweater and shouldn’t take too long to make.  This is one for me this time.
