Recently I was fortunate to have my family staying with us for a few days. It was the first time we had been able to get together since before COVID struck so it was quite some time ago. It was so good to be able to have time to have a proper catch up and we enjoyed doing cooperative crosswords, combining all our word knowledge yet still struggling with some of the clues.
My sister had brought a couple of board games as she was moving on to a get-together with her husband’s family after she had been with us and she was prepared for wet weather. One of the games she brought was Articulate.
“You’d better talk fast to beat the clock in Articulate! This popular board game is played in teams and brings fun to any gathering of four to 20+ players. The idea is to describe as many words as possible to your teammates in 30 seconds, without saying “rhymes with” or “sounds like”. It’s suitable for everything from parties to after-dinner family fun, and promises hours of enjoyment and laughter!”
This game provided great hilarity with our family. We laughed and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
You can find a detailed review of the game here.
Well worth a look.
