Experimenting with colourwork in knitting

I am slowly reducing my stash of wool but still have a long way to go.  The difficulty is knowing what to make with the odd balls of wool as generally there is not enough of one colour to make a complete garment. I have a Pinterest board for woolwork and one for yoke sweaters….

A Tour de France jumper

This jumper was completed in the last three days of the Tour de France. The pattern was a joy to work and I would certainly knit it again. You work the jumper from the neck down rather than the usual waist up. You can find the free pattern for this jumper online at Drops Design.
