In 2019 I was lucky to be asked by my sister and her husband to accompany them on a holiday in New Zealand. The main purpose of the holiday was to see the country while riding our bikes. My husband, who can no longer ride because of arthritis, drove the car to the end point of each section of the ride and we had some time when we were not bike riding to be able to tour other parts of the country. We were in New Zealand for three weeks. My sister and I both organised our accommodation through Air B&B or other accommodation servers. We had a mix of five star down to the very basic camp site type accommodation on one night. Overall the quality of the accommodation was excellent.
